Quick description about samid spamassassin middleware:

SaMid is short for "SpamAssassin Middleware". Its goal is to allow Windows users filter their email using SpamAssassin. The approach is to download all mail, pass it through SpamAssassin, and then "read" it into a POP3 client using a local POP3 serve.
