py3d worlds

We have hosted the application py3d worlds in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about py3d worlds:

Create a server for 3D worlds similar to opensim with python and postgres, the goal ist to have a small and fast implemetation. Also to build a viewer working in a browser.

Features:

• the server are in python to run on different platforms
• moving around a sim in a grid, textchat is available
• We use Panda3D for the 3D graphic
• The viewer runs now from a browser like Firefox, IE or Safari
• for testing the Browser Plugin visit http: //py3d-worlds
• Now also a VOIP server for chat is active
• SQL shall be implemted in plpsql

User interface: wxWidgets.
Programming Language: Python.
Database Environment: PostgreSQL (pgsql).
