diffractteach

We have hosted the application diffractteach in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about diffractteach:

Simulation of the diffraction phenomena of a plane-wave on a 2D-diaphragm in the Fraunhoffer approximation (corresponding to 99.9% of real common situations). The diaphragm is freely defined by the user via a bitmap file.

This program is entended as a help of teaching the diffraction phenomena to students.

Features:

• Diffraction simulation in the Fraunhoffer approximation.
• Data exportation (image or brut text format.)
• Possibility to change the color coding of the calculated diffraction figure.
