We have hosted the application check4mail in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

This app can check if password valid for login.This app support for 3 mail server:

gmail.com
mail.ru
yandex.ru

Soon I'll upgrade my app.He will support yahoo.com etc.
